Kenya So far...
Five days into our trip with Journey 2011 I am at peace. I know God has me here for a reason, yet not knowing wholly what that purpose may be, I am resting in relationship with Jesus. I am learning his Grace is sufficient for me, his Grace is sufficient for us. He is working this freedom into my life and heart. He is irradicating my flesh with love. This process is often very unnervingly painful but more than necessary. I am here, I am present, and I am free! In Isaiah the Lord says, "And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left." No matter the path I choose to walk, I cannot escape God's presence or loving mercy. God's promise to never leave or forsake us is eternal and active, and His Grace is an ocean- jump in!
Tomorrow morning we leave for 10 days to Ngaamba. I look forward to seeing my friends there. Please pray God has His way with us, that we submit to His will, and for our health as a team.
